  1. Every year the hospital performs more than 11,000 eye surgeries. Eyes For India, Sponsored by It Is Written Television from the United States of America has been involved in the humanitarian cause of restoring sight to thousands of blind people round the year. Through these services, thousands of lives are transformed and many are able to lead a quality life. The bus generously donated by It s Written helps transport these needy patients from villages to the hospital for surgery and back to their villages after their surgery.

This hospital is named after Mrs. Ruby Nelson, a missionary to India who sacrificed her life in service of the people of India.
